Sandisk released the world’s highest capacity microSD card, Sandisk Ultra 400GB UHS-I. It’s quite unbelievable to imagine 400GB on our fingertips and shows how far we have come in terms of digital storage in last few years. Sandisk’s new entrant in the highly competitive storage market is sure to raise the bars. Before this Sandisk’s highest capacity on microSD form factor was 256GB. The company has not compromised on speed and can transfer data at 100MB/s.
Sandisk claims that you can transfer 1200 photos in just a minute and store hours of Full HD video content with class 10 speed rating. Undoubtedly, it becomes an ideal choice for all the GoPro lovers and video makers. At present, the card is expected to cost $250, which is quite reasonable looking at the capacity and form factor.
The card is not yet available at any online or offline stores and Sandisk has not revealed the launch dates yet.
